The Chestnut Pony | New Jersey | Equine Photography

You may have seen some equine photography pop up on our blog or Facebook page.  Kerry has been an avid horsewoman since she could walk, and has gotten us both into equine photography as she continues to meet and work with riders & barn owners.  Next month she’s headed to Ireland for an unguided ride in beautiful Donegal County.  I’ll miss her, but someone’s got to stay home and photograph the mid-July weddings!

This is CP (Chestnut Pony – got to love the name), a 4 year old pony my wife is currently training for the owner.  He’s a beautiful mover, and has a wonderful personality!  I went up to the barn this weekend to see my wife work with him, and grabbed a few shots afterwards as he enjoyed a romp in the field.  He’s almost ready for his first lessons under saddle, so stay tuned! Ashley & David | Clinton NJ | Engagement Session

Check out this engagement session at Round Valley Reservoir in Clinton, New Jersey.  The afternoon sun along the water line created absolutely gorgeous lighting to photograph Ashley & David.

They were so busy leading up to their wedding day (both finishing up school & getting ready to move to Michigan for David’s new job) that we didn’t do the engagement session until about 1 week before the wedding.

You know what that means then, right?  I’ll be posting the highlight reel from the wedding really soon too!  Stay tuned.

Country Living | Bridgewater NJ | Photography

So, guess what we found nestled into a shaded corner of our yard!

A  bunny nest!  Stumbled upon while walking through our shade garden Friday afternoon.

 

This is just one of the exciting things about country living – being surrounded by wildlife.  Happy to report – all are still alive and well.

Now, I just hope they don’t get into the garden!

Jackie & Dave | Phoenixville PA | Engagement Session

We had a great time photographing Jackie & Dave around downtown Phoenixville, PA.  Jackie & Dave live in Phoenixville, but they will be getting married up here in Bedminster at Fiddler’s Elbow in September.  The day was filled with dancing, laughs, a street fair and Dave convincing Jackie that she will need to take golf lessons so she can join her on the courses in Hawaii which is where they will be honeymooning.

We actually met up with them last weekend at Fiddler’s Elbow so we could tour the venue – something we always do with the couple so we are fully prepared for the big day.
